WORKSHOP ON THE ROLE OF INTERIOR DESIGNING IN HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY
A hotel property’s design and décor have a great visual and functional impact on its guests through the overall image and message it communicates of the brand standards through ambience and theme it underlines. This session aimed to highlight the significance of Interior Design in shaping guest experiences and enhancing operational efficiency in the hospitality sector.
Interior design plays a crucial role in shaping the overall guest experience in the hospitality industry. It goes beyond aesthetics to influence the functionality, comfort, ambiance, and identity of a hotel. A well-designed hotel interior not only appeals visually but also enhances guest satisfaction, improves operational efficiency, and supports the brand image.
The II and IV Semester BHM Students of BGS Institute of Hotel Management participated in the Workshop titled “Role of Interior Designing in the Hospitality Industry” on 11 March 2025 at the Institution. This Workshop was part of their curriculum to gain knowledge on Types of Design, Principles, Elements and Units of Design conducted by Ms. Shraynita Mehta, an Architect who is an expert in Hospitality Interiors and founder of Space Palette Designs

On the other hand, a poorly styled space can leave a negative impression. By strategically curating these elements, businesses can enhance the guest experience, leaving a lasting impact and fostering memorable moments.
