EXPERT SESSION ON – FROM CAMPUS TO CAREER: MASTERING THE INTERNSHIP JOURNEY.

Internships are no longer a mere academic formality. They are a critical rite of passage, shaping how  young professionals engage with the real world. They mark the moment when theory transforms into action, when textbooks meet the bustling kitchens, the ever-smiling front desks, the meticulous housekeeping schedules, and the dynamic banquet floors of the hospitality world.

An internship is the first true handshake with the industry. It is a chance to prove that one is not just another student but a professional in the making. It is here the student’s passion, commitment, and adaptability will be silently observed—and remembered.

The Training and Placement Cell of BGS Institute of Hotel Management organized a dynamic and interactive Expert Session titled “From Campus to Career: Mastering the Internship Journey” for the  BHM students. The session, conducted by Ms. Saliya P V, Learning and Development Manager, and Ms. Deepa A G, Manager – Human Resources of the Park Hotel Bangalore, aimed at empowering students with the tools, mindset, and professional readiness to navigate their upcoming internships successfully and turn them into potential career opportunities.

The Expert Session on contributed greatly to the professional preparedness of the Hospitality Management students. It fulfilled its purpose of guiding students through a critical transition phase and inspiring them to make the most of their internship experience. The management and faculty of BGS Institute of Hotel Management extend heartfelt thanks to The Park Hotel, Bangalore for partnering in this academic endeavour and contributing to student development.
