ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON FLOWER ARRANGEMENT, TOWEL ART & BED-MAKING

Accommodation Operations play a crucial role in the overall functioning and success of a hotel or any guest accommodation, as it directly impacts guest experience, operational efficiency and financial performance.

Accommodation Operations refer to the various tasks and processes involved in managing and maintaining lodging facilities, such as hotels, resorts, motels, bed and breakfasts, and other types of accommodation. These operations ensure that guests have a comfortable, clean, and pleasant stay.

A One-Day Workshop on, “Flower Arrangement, Towel Art and Bed-making” was organized at the BGS Institute of Hotel Management, Bangalore. The Resource Person was Prof. Smitha Mohan, Vice-President – Learning and Development (Karnataka Chapter) of the Professional Housekeepers Association.

The Learning Outcomes of this Workshop included among others:

By the end of the workshop, the II Semester BHM Students understood the need to be proficient in the above skills and able to apply them in a professional hospitality setting, contributing to an enhanced guest experience.
