1. Welcome Music & Seating: The program began with soothing instrumental and cultural music, curated by Ms. Amrutha, creating a serene and uplifting atmosphere as students, faculty, and guests took their seats. The harmonious background set the perfect tone for the day’s proceedings.
2. Welcoming the Gathering: Prof. Drishya Prabhakar extended a heartfelt welcome to the students, faculty members, and dignitaries. She emphasized the importance of the day as the official start of the students’ professional journey in the hospitality industry, symbolically marking the transition from aspiration to action.

Lighting of the Lamp & Invocation: In a traditional gesture symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the ushering in of knowledge, the ceremonial lamp was lit by the Principal, faculty representatives, and two student representatives. The moment was accompanied by an instrumental invocation piece, fostering an air of reverence. Prof. Drishya Prabhakar coordinated the proceedings with grace and cultural sensitivity.
4. Keynote Address – “Hospitality: A Career Beyond Borders” – Delivering the keynote address, Chef Eabin Mathew inspired students with insights into the global hospitality landscape.
