The BGS Institute of Hotel Management (BGSIHM) hosted its much-awaited Freshers’ Day on 23rd August 2025, to warmly welcome the newest members of the BGSIHM family.
The celebration was more than just an event — it was a true showcase of talent, diversity, and youthful enthusiasm, marking the beginning of our freshers’ academic journey in the vibrant world of hospitality.
Highlights of the Day
- A soulful prayer and Invocation symbolizing a prayer for the success, well-being, and bright future of the new students.
- An inspiring address by Principal, Eabin Mathew, reminding students of the values of hospitality, discipline, and innovation.
- Cultural Performances — dances, music, and interactive games — curated by seniors to break the ice and create bonds.
- An atmosphere of bonding and fellowship, where freshers connected with seniors and faculty, making them feel at home.
The Seminar Hall came alive with vibrant décor, music, laughter, and applause — leaving behind cherished memories for everyone.
Prizes were given away to the winners of various competitions and activities organized for both the Freshers and the senior students. The prize distribution ceremony not only recognized talent and enthusiasm but also encouraged a spirit of healthy competition, teamwork, and celebration among the students.
Freshers’ Day 2025 was indeed a memorable beginning — one that set the tone for the students’ exciting journey ahead in the world of hospitality.
